    In an Inquisition post mortem in 9 Henry IV [1409] Alice's brother, Richard Corbet of Leghton, son of John Corbet, was found heir to their father. The following year, 10 Henry IV [1410], Alice, wife of William Brereton, was found to be the sister of the deceased Richard Corbett, and heir to the manor of Fulke Stapleford.
