    • He [Hugh de Courtenay] married, before 1341, before September, Elizabeth, daughter of John [De Vere or Veer], Earl of Oxford, by Maud, widow of Robert FitzPayn and 2nd daughter of Bartholomew Lord Badlesmere. He died v.p., before 2 September 1349, and was buried at Ford Abbey, aged about 22. His widow died 23 August or September 1375.
