      SIR RICHARD FOLIOT, of Gressenhall and Weasenham, son and heir, born 25 December 1283. His father's lands were liberated, 18 October 1299. He was going beyond seas on the King's service in January 1307/8.

      He married (her marriage being granted to him, 16 September 1310) Joan, widow of James DE BOHUN, of Maddenstown, co. Kildare (who was born at Ford, Sussex, 3 February 1280/1, and baptized there, and died shortly before 30 May 1306, and younger daughter and coheir of Sir William DE BREOUSE, Lord of Bramber and Gower [LORD BREOUSE], by his 1st wife, whose name is unknown. He died on the King's service in Scotland, before 23 July 1317. His widow, who held the manor of Gressenhall for life, died before 23 June 1324.
