      ------------------------

Alianor Arundel . . . was married for the first time about 1431 to Thomas Browne, Knt, of Betchworth Castle, Surrey, jure uxoris, son of Richard Browne, Knt. He was Treasurer of the Household to King Henry VI, and Sheriff of Kent 1440 and 1460. They had seven sons and two daughters. Sir Thomas Browne was convicted of high treason on 20 July 1460, and immediately beheaded. [Plantagenet Ancestry]

Note: The above states that Thomas was of Betchworth in right of his wife (jure uxoris), therefore the prior generations must have been of Eythorne, or someplace else?
