Notes - Biography
Mary was born in Virginia in 1790, to the parents of William Jackson and Margaret Barrett.
Mary married Silas Harris and together they had 6 children; Milley Ann born 1808, Ann born 1809, Elizabeth born 1813, Burge Christopher born 1814, William Britton born 1816, and finally Linna in 1817.
Mary died at age 28 after birth of daughter Linna in 1817.
Research
Many researchers have incorrectly place all children under Mary, who died around 1818 and Silas remarried Tabitha Chappell in about 1819.
Mary's fathers death date is still to be determined and under investigation.
