  MilitaryService private in Capt Eels' company of Col Comfort Sage's Third Battalion in Wadsworth's Brigade, of Connecticut troops. The battalion to which he belonged was raised to reinforce Gen Washington, then at New york City, and its term of service was spent in that city and in Long Island.
