Notes - Eleanor's father, John Oliver, was bound for England when he made his will on April 19, 1652 (recorded June 16, 1655) and evidently never returned from England. He mentions wife Ellen and gave his son John and two daughters land at Blackwater (Book 2-79) . Gov. Berkeley had granted John Oliver 300 acres on the Blackwater on July 2, 1650 (Book 17c-541). On January 5, 1666, John Collins who married Eleanor, daughter of John Oliver, and John Wake field who married Mary, youngest daughter of John Oliver, deeded (with their wife's consent) this 300 acres to John Branch.
