Mrs. Martha Jane Carney, age 93 of Elmwood, TN passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at Kindred Healthcare Center in Carthage, TN. Mrs. Carney was born April 14, 1920 in Alabama, the daughter of the late Mel Ingram and Lucy Irene Finney.

She was also preceded in death by Three Children; Lamar Carney, Buddy Land, and Sonja Carney, Sister; Roberta Hicks.Mrs. Carney is survived by Eight Children; Shirley (Jerry) Woodard of Elmwood, TN, Marlene Kay Holland of Thompson's Station, TN, Connie (Danny) Davis of Dayton, TN, Richard (Rebecca) Carney of Rossville, GA, Jimmy (Angie) Carney of Dunlap, TN, John "J.C." (Terri) Carney of Birchwood, TN, Willard Land, David (Reanna) Carney of Loudon, KY. Sister; Cleo Williams of Chattanooga, TN. Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren also survive.
