Daniel Isaac Faure II (1647-1701)
One of Daniel's sons was Daniel Isaac Faure II, who was born on September 20, 1647 in La Rochelle-Normande, France. In 1670, he married Marie Anne Chastain in Berry Province, France. Daniel and Marie Anne had five children All were French Huguenots. In April 1685, Daniel II swore abjuration to leave England and come to America.
Daniel, Marie Anne and her children were on the ship Mary and Ann when it came to Jamestown, Virginia on July 23, 1700. One of her children was Elisabeth Faure (1686-1750), who married Jean Pierre Morriset (1675-1734) in Virginia in 1708. Jean Pierre Morriset was an educated man and an expert horseman and swordsmen. Their first child, Jane was born in 1708 in Manakin Town, Virginia.
The list of the ship's passengers also included Pierre Jacob Chastain (1659-1728), his wife and five children. The Chastain and Faure/Ford families must have been very close. Pierre Chastain's grandson, Rev. Rene Chastain would later marry Mary Anne Faure, daughter of James Faure in 1760.

Was a soldier. According to Baird in "History of Huguenot Emigration to America", the Jesuits in boasting of success in the effort to convert heretics (Huguenots), show Daniel Fore, son of Isaac Fore and Ann Tibault of St. Jean d'Angely diocese of La Rochelle, a soldier, made abjuration in April 1685.
