      David Dale Warner, age 76, of Council Grove, passed away December 13th at Diversicare of Council Grove.

      He was born March 4, 1944, the son of Dale L. and Goldie M. (Smith) Warner, in Texas. During his lifetime, David was a locksmith, mechanic and handyman.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dalene Rumsey, and nephews Bryan Burns and Matthew Warner.

      David is survived by his wife Debbie; children: Paula Stokes (James), Patty Davis (Scott), Kathy Thompson (Rich), John Stutts and Vernon Warner; brother Oscar Warner; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.

      Due to the Covid Pandemic, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of David's life will be held at a later date.

      Memorial contributions may be made to the Sunset Zoo in Manhattan, and may be sent in care of Sawyer Funeral Home, PO Box 273, Council Grove, Kansas.
