- Benjamin Beach was born March 3, 1673 in Stratford Conn. He was orphaned at age four and was probably brought up by his married sister Elizabeth in Wallingford Conn. He married Mary Hitchcock in 1695. In 1714 he moved his family to New Jersey, first to Newark, later to Hanover, but returning to Newark. Benjamin and Mary had eight children (four girls and four boys).
Died after 1717 in Newark, New Jersey.
