  Biography Sir Christopher inherited an estate at Holton, Oxfordshire in 1558. He first married Elizabeth Wenman, granddaughter of Lord Williams of Thame Park. The marriage was brief and in 1561 he became a young widower. Secondly he married Lady Eleanor Windsor of Hewell Grange, Worcestershire (daughter of William, 2nd Baron Windsor). They had 2 sons and 6 daughters, including: Eleanor who first married Sir Richard Lewknor and after his death in 1590 married Sir William Oglander of the IoW.
