- Angus Mackintosh was the son of Lachlan 'Mor' Mackintosh, 16th of Mackintosh, 17th Chief of Clan Chattan and Agnes Mackenzie.[1] A contract for the marriage of Angus Mackintosh and Lady Jane Campbell was signed on 26 February 1585/86.[1] He died in November 1593 at Padua, Italy.[1]
NOTE: Birth date is a rough estimate based upon the generation of 25-30 years, and not accurate.
On 1 January 1574/75 on his father's resignation, he obtained a charter from James VI of Glenroy, Glenlui, Moy Arracht and other lands.[1] He lived at Torcastle, Scotland.[1]
