Notes - Gail was born in 1927. Gail Huddleston was born and raised in the Missouri Ozarks. He moved to Kansas City after his father passed away to help support his family. He worked for North American Airlines in the assembly plant until joining the Navy in 1943. After his first tour of duty he returned to KC to begin working for General Motors in 1955 he married Nancy Lee Rider. He had two boys and worked for GM until his stroke and retirement in late 1981 . He passed away from heart failure Oct 30, 1997.

Gail Everett Huddleston, 69, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 30th, at Trinity Lutheran Hospital. He was born on November 24, 1927, in Bagnel, Missouri, the son of Clarence H. Huddleston and Lona J. Bolling. Mr.Huddleston was a member of the Armourdale Baptist Church and UAW Local 31. He was a Navy veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the General Motors Fairfax Plant in 1981.
Surviving him were his wife, Nancy, of the home; two sons, Brad Huddleston of Kansas City, Kansas, and Daryl Huddleston of Independence; three sisters, Irma Vesel of Kansas City, Kansas, Oleta Oliver of Kansas City and Faye Wright of Eldon, Missouri; a brother, Tommy Huddleston, of Eldon; and three grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday afternoon at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Overland Park Chapel. Funeral services were held on Monday morning, November 3rd, at Armourdale Baptist Church. Burial followed at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas.
