- Passed away after a 14 1/2 year battle with breast cancer with her husband Glen and her mother by her side.
She is survived by her husband Glen, son Rick Binzen, her mother Lois Kosary, her two sisters Carol (Paul) Posey, Peggy (Dave) Zupancic and brothers Ronald (Karen) and Edward and numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and greatnephews.
Preceded by her father Ronald Glen Kosary in 1964 and her husband Brad Muir in 1993 and her niece Christy Kosary just 2 short weeks before her death.
Cynthia was a graduate of Illinois State University, class of 1978 where she recieved a degree in special education, she taught for 23 years at Marycrest School in Joliet, Illinois, she was awarded the Anita Peterson Educator of the Year in 1996 by the Joliet Public Schools.
Past secretary of the Will County Audubon Society and a volunteer worker for the National Weather Services. She loved to travel and to explore her world.
She travel to places that interested her right till months before her death, she had the belief that as long as she was still breathing and could walk, she would go.
The island of Trinidad was her final trip in January before she passed away in April.
