  Bruce D. Nevins, 63, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Ashland Healthcare Center. He was born December 28, 1951 in Fulton, Missouri the son of the late Willard Taylor and Jewell Faye (Martin) Nevins. Bruce graduated from Jefferson City High School. He was the owner/operator of Nevins Painting for over 20 years and specialized in residential painting. He enjoyed watching Cardinals baseball, Chiefs and Rams Football games and golfing. Bruce is survived by three sons: Brian Nevins of Columbia, Patrick (Joanne) Nevins of Jefferson City, and Joseph Nevins of Utah; one daughter: Wendy (Kevin) Lea of Columbia; one brother: Jerry (Kathy) Nevins of Jefferson City; and two grandchildren: Kevin Dewayne Lea and Sydney Maxine-Paige Nevins.
