  Biography Sir Roger Copley of Roughway, Sussex, husband of Anne) Hoo and father of Margarett, Sir Roger, Eleanor, Elizebeth and Anne.[1] Roger is estimated to have been born 1424 - 1444, to have married 1455-1488 Anne Hoo, daughter of Thomas Hoo, Lord Hoo and Hastings, [2] and to have died 1458 - 1530 at Gatton, (or Roughway, Sussex) England.[citation needed] Research Notes Said to be a descendant of Charlemagne.[3] Sources ?
