  Biography Anne was the eldest daughter of Thomas Hoo and his second wife Eleanor, daughter of Lionel Wells, knight.[1] She was born about 1448, as she was listed as aged seven years in the IPM of her father in 1455. [2] She was the wife of Sir Roger Copley of Roughway, Sussex, and mother of Margarett, Sir Roger, Eleanor, Elizebeth and Anne.[3] She was one of the coheirs of her father Thomas Hoo, Baron Hoo and Hastings.
