"Joseph D. Byler, died: July 21, 1858, in the 85th years of his life. He was native of Pennsylvania. and emigrated to Cooper County, Missouri in 1817. He is buried in the Byler Family Cemetery. Roger Byler of Texas has told of an old Byler Family Cemetery on the old Muntzel Farm - just south of Windsor Place; south of Rankin's Mill where some of his family where buried. It has since been practically destroyed - information before 1981. Roger Byler has had these stones removed to Pisgah Cemetery at Pisgah, Missouri. Joseph D.
