      Elizabeth Vernon was the daughter of Henry (or Harry) Vernon, Knt., of Haddon, Derbyshire[1] and Anne Talbot.[2][3][4] Her date of birth is unknown and is estimated.

      Elizabeth married Robert Corbet, Knt.[3] (born ca. 1478), son and heir of Sir Richard Corbet and Elizabeth Devereux.[2] Their marriage date is unknown and is estimated. They had three sons and four daughters:

      Roger, Esq.,[2] married Anna Windsor and had issue;[1] he was a MP and died in 1538[5]
      Richard,[2] married Margery Saville and had issue;[1] he was also a MP and died in 1566[6]
      Reginald,[2] 3rd son, married Alice Gratwood[1] and had issue; he also died in 1566[7]
      Jane, married Thomas Lee[1][2]
      Joan (or Anne?), wife of Thomas Newport[1][2]
      Mary, wife of Thomas Powell[1][2]
      Dorothy, married Sir Richard Mainwaring[1][2]

      Her husband, Robert, died 11 April 1513.[2] He left a will dated 23 April 1509 and proved 16 November 1513. Elizabeth was one of the executors of his will.[8]

      In 1541, Elizabeth sued her brother, Humphrey Vernon, and William Cotton for payment of a debt of 200 marks.[9]

      Elizabeth died 29 March 1563 and was buried at Moreton Corbet, Shropshire, with her husband.[2]

      Daughters Joan/Anne and Margery

      The given name on daughter Joan's profile was changed from Anne to Joan, as Richardson states that Robert and Elizabeth's daughter, Joan, married Thomas Newport. Joan/Anne's profile needs an overhaul.

      Detached Margery as daughter as she appears to be the daughter of a Robert Corbet of Cheshire. There is no record of Robert of Moreton Corbet and Elizabeth having a daughter named Margery.
