He [John Talbot] m. 1stly, bef. 12 Mar 1406/7, Maud, according to modern doctrine suo jure Baroness Furnivalle, elder daughter of Thomas (Neville), Lord Furnivalle, and only child and heir of (his 1st wife) Joan, according to modern doctrine suo jure Baroness Furnivalle, only daughter and heir of William (de Furnivalle), Lrod Furnivalle. She, who was b. c 1392 sat at Queen Katherine's Coronation banquet in Westminster Hall, 21 Feb 1420/1. She d. about 1423 and was buried in Worksop Priory, Notts. [Complete Peerage XI:698-704]

BARONY of FURNIVALLE (VI)
MAUD NEVILLE, suo jure Baroness FURNIVALLE, elder daughter and heir of Thomas NEVILLE, LORD FURNIVALLE, and only child of her mother Joan, daughter and heir of William, LORD FURNIVALLE. She married, before 12 March 1406/7, as 1st wife, John TALBOT, 2nd son of Sir Richard TALBOT, of Goodrich [LORD TALBOT], by Ankarette, his wife. She was aged 15 and more at her father's death. On 3 May 1407 the King took the fealty of John Talbot, and John and his wife, the said Maud, had livery of all the lands which her father had held by the courtesy after the death of Joan his wife, and also of Maud's moiety of the tenements which her father had held in his demesne as of fee.
