    • He [Hugh Hastings] married, before 1 November 1376, Anne, 3rd daughter of Sir Edward LE DESPENSER, Lord of Glamorgan and Morgannwg [LORD LE DESPENSER], by Elizabeth, daughter and heir of Sir Bartholomew DE BURGHERSH, of Ewyas Lacy, co. Hereford, Stert and Colerne, Wilts, &c. [LORD BURGHERSH]. On 16 June 1386 he gave evidence in the Scrope and Grosvenor controversy, and soon afterwards, on 8 or 9 July, accompanied the Duke of Lancaster in his expedition to Spain, where he died 6 November 1386. On 15 May 1387 the manors of Elsing, Weasenham, and Monewden, which he and his wife had held jointly at his death, were released to her. She married, as 2nd wife, Sir Thomas DE MORLEY, of Morley, Norfolk, Marshal of Ireland [LORD MORLEY], who died 24 September 1416, and was buried in the Church of the Austin Friars at Norwich.       He [Thomas de Morley] married, 2ndly, before October 1390, Anne, widow of Sir Hugh HASTINGES (died 6 November 1386), and daughter of Edward LE DESPENSER [LORD LE DESPENCER], by Elizabeth, daughter and heir of Sir Bartholomew DE BURGHERSH [LORD BURGHERSH], by whom he had no issue. He died 2 September 1416, at Calais, and was buried in the Austin Friars', Norwich. Dower was granted to his widow Anne. She died 30 or 31 October 1426, and was buried in the Austin Friars', Norwich.
