Notes:
BIOGRAPHY: There were apparently three brothers, sons of John Ellsworth, that left England for religious persecution. Theophilus, the eldest, fled to Holland and spelled the name Elsvort, or Elswort, after the Dutch pronunciation. He later came to New York City, where many of his descendants lived as late as 1840
Theophilus married Annetje JANS on 1 Jun 1647 in Amsterdam, Noord Holland, Holland. Annetje and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
